I handed in my OOPNP application on June 26th and I haven't heard anything from the Opportunities Ontario office yet.
Since many ppl seem to know when their application fees have been encashed, I went to my bank (BMO) to find out whether my money order for the OOPNP application has been encashed. When I went to the bank, the teller told me he cannot tell whether the money order has been enchashed or not because it doesn't show on their system. He also told me that his supervisor would have to call the recipient of the money order (in this case, the Ontario Minister of Finance) to find out whether it had been encahsed or not.

How did other applicants find out whether their money order has been encashed or not?
Did you guys just go to the bank and asked and got the answer?
This is so frustrating and dragging.
Please let me know.
thanks.

Think it also depends on the method of payment. Bank drafts are drawn from a specific account, which is why some banks are able to tell if they've been encashed. Not completely sure about money orders.

Many of us took the Demand Draft, which a teller can say whether it is encashed or not. Lot of people are yet to hear from them, even I am also one of them. My application handed over at their office on June 26th an still my DD is no yet encashed. Don't worry we all will hear soon from them
