Ontario PR's - where are you?

I was curious to see where Permanent Residents are living/will be living in Ontario. I'd love to meet someone nearby but I doubt it!

So, where are you?

When my husband landed, we were living in Meaford. We are moving to Collingwood in a few weeks.

We are living in Beaverton which is a small town on Lake Simcoe. We are south east of you sariss. I hope you like skiing because Blue Mountain is the place for it. Does your husband do winter or will he be an indoor person because of the cold? Very nice in the summer on Georgian Bay.

I sadly dont ski or snowboard but I grew up here so I always get asked!!

This is my husbands first winter, he comes from Arizona. He is actually doing pretty good and is debating taking up snowboarding!

I grew up in Sudbury so skiing and skating were what we did in the winter. I gave up downhill skiing after a wipeout one winter and stuck to cross country skiing but then I moved to southern Ontario and gave up all skiing for safer pursuits like walking the dog when it snows ;D.
