Ontario PNP based work permit - Please share your timeline!!!!!

Hi,

I am desperate for information. Anyone applied for work permit based on Ontario PNP certificate (no LMIA)?

I applied on August 29 and CIC keeps saying they are verifying my file! Opportunities Ontario Call Centre tells me that nominees seem to be getting their work permit processed with no delay, so I'd like to reach out to anyone who has received their work permit with Ontario PNP certificate.

I am also a PNP certificate holder and my Work permit is expiring soon too. Please someone share how to apply for a new work permit on the basis of a letter given by OPNP.

Sandippp, not sure of your question. what do you mean how to apply? You need to put in an application according to the instructions.

joyous, OPNP had issued me a letter stating that if my work permit is expiring soon, then apply for an extension by providing this letter to CIC. So, when i try to apply online for an extension, i don't see any option to extend my work permit with the help of a letter given by PNP.
They need an AOR to extend the work permit.

You need to put in an application. This is where I applied for a work permit. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/extend-worker.asp

I applied online and scanned in my documents, including PNP cert and letter. You will get instructions on this site. Make sure you do it before your work permit expires or it'll be a massive headache.
