Ontario License number + Name + Address Fraud?

Hi Everyone,

I was trying to book a test in Ontario and found this website: http://bookyourroadtest.com/

It seems so legit but apparently it’s a third party company... I figured this out before I had the chance to pay them so all good here.

However, I have put my driver license number, my address and name before I realized it’s not an official website and hit “Proceed to payment”.

I can suspect that they could have collected my license number and name with address.

How dangerous in theory could this be? I mean the situation when someone has my driver’s license number but without picture?

I appreciate any replies as I’m still quite new to Canada and not sure if I should do something about it.

They can pay your parking tickets

On a serious note I would just be careful with any social engineered/phishing mails and monitor credit reports for any suspicious activity.

Hopefully it will just blow away
