Ontario drivers license requirements?

I am a new immigrant, I currently reside in Ontario, my background is Trinidad and Tobago. I have no drivers license, but I am interested in doing the G1 exams. Can anyone tell me what documents do I need to write the exams, if or how can I qualify to write the exams. Thanks
