Hello there. I got only 75% (with 55 in Maths) in 12th grade CBSE. 8.4 CGPA in 10th. Apart from that I got 7 bands in IELTS with no less than 6.5 in each category. Do I have any chance of getting into York, Simon Fraser, Queen's, Dalhousie, Calgary, Alberta or McMaster? Thank you

Alberta ,Dalhousie,York are the easiest invest to get into. They don't really care about your grades but just your fubds. Queens&Mcmaster have an excellent engineering faculty but haven't heard much about other programs. SFU is a top tier university for both engineering and computer science but the campus is so damn small and their acceptance rate is less. They also have a wierd first year college for international students which sounds sketchy.

Regarding the grades, I'm sure you're math grades are going to cause a few hindrances. I had 77 in Math CBSE when I applied to Carleton/Waterloo. They told me to take one extra math course in my first year and get an A in it if I wanted to continue in the program. I ended up with an A+ and they gave me free co-op for a semester and 3000$ scholarship. I ended up not doing the co-op though. Hope this helps
