Online TRV Application for South African National

Hi, my fiance just submitted her application on line for a multiple entry visa, i work on cruise ships as an engineer and the plan is she will sail onboard with me. We dock in Victoria B.C. once a week. We heard online would be quicker than going down the paper route at Pretoria but now we have completed the application we can only find wait times from within Canada for online applications. Does anyone know how long the online process usually takes for a South African? Any help would be appreciated!

About 8 days + mailing time for passport if accepted.
