Online SIN renweal

Did anyone renew their SIN recently? I made an application a little more than 1 week ago and since then never received any email or mail, I don't even have proof that I applied in the first place.

From what I've heard it might take a while, and we can only expect to receive something in the mail. I also applied to renew mine about a week ago. Did you not get an application number when you applied? Surely that is the proof of application.
