I am preparing documents to prove that our application is underway. I have used the online payment method and printed off my receipt. The guide says that there will be a barcode printed and a payer information page to be filled out by hand. I have not been able to find either of these. Searched the site a few times and still cannot locate where these are.

thanks for your help.

Have they sent you a copy of the receipt to your email? It comes in pdf format. When you open it up you will be able to see both the barcode and the payer information.

what should I put on the receipt "client ID"???

the receipt should be on the sponsor name or on the sponsored name?

The receipt should be on the sponsor's name. The client ID is the sponsor's UCI - if he is not a born Canadian he has one. If he is Canadian by birth, he doesn't have one. If he doesn't have one or he doesn't remember it, just leave that part blank.

I haven't got an email yet its been 24hrs since I made the payment. Only receipt I have is the one that looks like a regular store's receipt.

I have not submitted the application only paid the fees not sure if that would change anything. Hopefully I paid for the right thing??

I don't know what a regular store's receipt looks like in your country. The receipt you get after loging into your account and paying your fees looks like this:

You can find it in your account on CIC's website any time you need it.

I never logged in anywhere when I paid my fees. I went to the guide and selected pay my fees then pay fees online and followed all the steps. Ive tried calling cic's 1-800 number but it always says to call back another time. Only other thing I can think of is going to a service Canada location.

You must have done something wrong, then. I never paid anything online through CIC's site without logging in.

Was the sum you paid withdrawn from your account?

I managed to finally reach an agent at the 1800 number and got the run around forwarded to about 6 other desks and 3 other emails but finally got them to emaik me my e-payment receipt. If anybody else has this troibke they can contact me for the email address which contacts the appropriate persons.
