Online or Paper based application

I am preparing my application for Spouse Visa. However, I am getting mixed opinions around filing the application online vs paper based. While some say that paper based applications process faster, others say online applications are better. It would be great if you could share some more insights on which mode is better? Thank you!

Nobody will give you any right answer for this, all depends on the case agent on the file. Make sure you have your application package checked couple time with two different set of eyes and pick your choice (online/paper) and keep your fingers crossed.

There is no clear évidence that one is better than the other.

Online is more convenient for some because less to send by courier esp if from abroad.

Paper appears to be a bit faster to get aor (not clear if faster overall). This red8ces stress.

If you wish to apply for inland owp, you can submit that app at same time by paper, you cannot online. This is more convenient because unclear often exactly when to submit the owp of you can't suit or with the main application.

Also, the instructions for online are not perfectly clear and it's a pilot. If you can't deal with ambiguity, submit paper app.
