hi Guys

I was looking for the process of doing an online submission

I assume that doing it this way, all support documents would be scanned?
as well as your signature?

this would seem to be the best method, compared to mailing everything.

Am i right?

PS all you guys who contributing your valuable valuable time to help all us newbees that are simply overwelmed at the complexity of this process. Well assuming everyone else is like me lol.

Online submission for what? You can only submit Family Class PR applications through the mail.

"Not all applications can be submitted online at this time.

Currently, you can apply online for:

a visitor visa;
a study permit;
a work permit;
coverage under the Interim Federal Health Program; and
permanent residence through our Express Entry program."

For an Application for Permanent Residence (Family Class), you need to submit all documents and forms through the mail to CPC-Mississauga. This is stated in the outland instruction guide (as well as the inland one) http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/spouse.asp

If you're applying through Express Entry, you're in the wrong subforum.

Nope. The only way to submit Family Class PR applications is through the mail to CPC-M.

Hopefully someday they'll add the option to submit more types of applications online.

I doubt this would happen for family sponsorship. considers all these photo evidence; police clearance stuff.
