Online application - study permit extension - time lines

Hi ,

How long does it take to process an online application(study permit extension). I applied it online.
Do they send an email or do i need to check the website by logging in about the status?
or do they send any mail in post if they need anything or final decision?

I am eagerly waiting for their response.

On cic website it says processing time for online application is 15 days.
Has anyone got response within 15 days?

Yes, give it about 15 days plus regular mail to your location. I've done online renewal earlier this year.

does anyone know how long it takes to process online application for study permit from bangladesh? in the website it says 9 weeks but does not mention if it is the time for processing paper application or online application.
