after 13 months waiting, my online application status has finally changed from " application received" to "In process"

so for those who have lost their faith, please don't give up

Got AOR on 8 the April 2014 but still no change in status after 14 months .

Last week I called CIC they said backgrounds check going on. That's it

After seeing your post i cheq my status and it says we strted prossesing your application on may 14 2015. i was requested medical and RPRF ON may 15 2015. I applied on MARCH 28 2014. Yeeeeeeeee party time
