today i received this notification by an email
Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your MyCIC account and check your application status and messages for more information.

This message is intended for the following e-mail address: XXXXXXXXXX@gmail.com. If this message is not for you, please delete it.

when i singed in there was no message or update was there.

could you please tell me is it normal or i should contact to local embassy???

It is normal.
 
Totally normal. No need to call the embassy.
You might receive few messages before any actual update.
 
Even i had the same thing this morning at 7:25am.. I also got an email update ..went and checked CIC at 8:30 am there is no update.. i thought it might be som ecookie issue thats why its not updating.. I cleared all teh cookies can back after 1/2 hr.. but still i didnt see any update.the only update i had was about the submission of application..there was nothing else..
