online application for visa under SPP

hello.
yesterday I applied for student visa under SPP category online. Now status of my application shows 'open'. I don't know what us the next step? will they directly issue study permit? or will they ask for my passport? reply me guys...

if you did not submit your passport you need to sent it after the request it from you... If they dont then your visa is not approved..

Did you apply online? If yes, then how did you select the category to be SPP? Is there a separate link/question for that?
