Hello all,
I completed my MSc last year from the Univ of Manitoba and after graduation, I worked as a Research Coordinator (NOC 4165) for 7 months and then as a Database Analyst (NOC 2172) for 5 months with the Univ of Manitoba. Both these jobs come under skill category A and I worked full-time (35 hrs/week) without any gap in while switching to the latter job.
Although the CIC website mentions that the work experience can be accumulated under two different jobs, I am confused regarding which NOC code to use as "Primary job" in the employment section. When I completed my application with NOC 2172, my application was rejected from the pool stating that I was ineligible to apply. Can someone who went through a similar experience guide me regarding the deficiencies in the application?
Is my application getting rejected due to not having 1-year experience in the Primary NOC job (i.e. 2172)?
