Okay, we just our COPR sorted out yesterday, and we are planning to leave the UK at the end of November. We're moving to Alberta, and we know that new residents can apply for medical immediately after arriving there. What we want to know is if anyone can recommend any UK insurance companies that can provide us with some one-way insurance to cover us while the application for Alberta Health is being processed? Most UK insurer sites provide 'single trip' insurance, but these state that you have to be returning to the UK. If anyone can give us some advice or recommendations it would be most appreciated!!!

Hi there!
You can get a 'Visitors to Canada' policy, which will cover you for emergencies, while you wait for your health plan. These policies are refundable, once you receive the provincial health plan and they do not cost a lot.
You can check our company's website for more information, or email is at arbetov.office@gmail.com for some info and rates.
