We have applied for the Permanent Reisdent sponsorship for my parents-in-law. The father is the applicant, and the mother is the dependent on application.
The father was outside Canada during the application processing, while the mother (dependent) was in Canada already. Due to COVID-19, she's been with us for 2 years by extending her stay in Canada.
By the end of 2021, the application was approved, and the father got the landing paper. In Feb. 2022, the father came to Canada via air and physically landed via the airport. However, that leaves the mother in a pending state. She did not land in Canada and yet she does not have the online virtual landing portal access either.
We have submit the status update to CIC via their Web Forms, as long with the mother's details information. We expect someone from CIC would send us the portal access invite email, but it's been 3 months, there is no update or email to guide us to get the mother complete her PR landing.
