one month bank statement is enough?

I have read on forum that it has worked for some forum members. They may request say three months down the line while you app is under process to provide POF again, in that case you will need to give them 4 monts ( 1+3) and they can see that funds are still in your account.

1 month statement is fine 3 months statement is safe and 6 months is good. if local visa office is not satisfied then they may ask for more information.Pagal said:

In your case ,just give Bank Balance Certificate .
No need to give 1 months bank statement.
1 months stmnt works, 3 months is gud ,while 3+ is gr8.
So instead of going for 1 months bank stmnt ,pls prefer only
BANK BALANCE CERTIFICATE.

Hi all... I think the logic is...
#1 They need a letter or certicicate of bank statement for any account (saving or certificate deposit) that show you have the mininum POF.
#2 They also need bank statements (required 6 onths from CHC Buffalo, for my example) to show that you have certain level of income that enables you to have that money in Point #1.
so for example if in #2, I only have income $1000 a month and each month you also have expense about that much...and maybe in some months you showed no income.....they probably will question why you have the minimum POF stated in #1 above...
But then again, one can argue that you just sold a property of jewelry or art collection to have minimum POF as in #1 but that is a different story...
