Arghhh, I hate being paranoid...but it's better to ask than being sorry later I guess!! ;D

I'm a Canadian citizen who's going to sponsor my wife, an Indonesian citizen. I'm just sponsoring her and nobody else. We have no children either.

I was looking at IMM5491 (DOCUMENT CHECKLIST - SPONSOR)

Point 14 says "Photocopy of your marriage certificate, if you have a co-signer and he or she is your spouse"

But I have NO co-signer, and obviously my wife is not my co-signer either.

So...within the sponsor's (my) package, referring to point 14 I DON'T need to include the marriage certificate of me and my wife's marriage, or do I?!

On the other hand, within the sponsored person's (my wife's) package, we ARE going to include a (sworn) translated marriage certificate, along with a notarised copy of the original. That ALONE, I hope, would suffice...??

If you are Legally married toghether then there NO is co-signer in your application, co-signer is used for common in law relationship ,
therefore you should include your marriage certificate that is the only thing that proves that you are legally bond together as a couple, and you don't need to sent an original one, keep it and so make a notarized copies of the original plus a certified translation if it is written in Bahasa Indo or any other language :)
Yes that would be enough
