Hi there,
I may be posting in the wrong section but please bear with me! I could really use any advice!

I've been trying to get to move to Canada for the last 8 years, and last year I found out I was eligible for a working holiday visa since I'm from one of the commonwealth countries. This working holiday visa is non extendable meaning if I want to work in Canada after I need a proper work visa.
Now I arrived here and got a job within 2 weeks of getting here since I only came here with about 3000 dollars in total which was fantastic(but I researched 80 agencies's addresses websites emails phone numbers beforehand so i was prepared).
I got a contract offer and soon they'll change it to a full time job agreement, however in order to stay past my visa expiery date I need a work visa that's not a working holiday. I've never done an LMIO/LMO, and neither has my boss but they really want to keep me on they're just unsure how to approach it and dont know how easy/time consuming this will be for them.

So my questions in short is
How hard it is for a company in a specialized field to get approval for an LMO/the current one.
Is there any other option for me to stay here and work/hopefully immigrate apart from an LMO.

My details are this:
I've got a full time job in advertising/marketing
I've had years of experience in that profession
I do not have a degree in it, but I do have written references from my country confirming I've spent more than a year doing it and am a great asset.
I'm under 30/Single/No children.
I'm applying in Ontario.
English is my first language.

I really wanted to apply for that PR via skilled worker but I need 12 months of work experience in canada to do so and I'll get about 11 working here since then my visa will run out :(
ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated! This is my one shot into Canada and I want to do anything I can to stay here, I love everything about here!

Apply for a second IEC (looks like you're eligible), but get your skates on, it's about to open for this year & places go in minutes.

This would give you & your company time to research the LMIA options, & help you build up your experience to apply for PR under CEC.

Also look at PNP, although Ontario is notoriously difficult.

P.S. LMIA is time-consuming, & costs employer 1000$. If the company hasn't done it before, they may need / like specialist advice.

Sadly I can't reapply for IEC , they only give it out once in New Zealand :( And it appears I applied too early, mine's for 12 months, the new ones are for 23 months but I can't apply for those which is so frustrating.
I can give the thousand dollars, I can live off noodles for a few months that's not the worry hahah I'll do anything to stay. I've still got untill October but I really want to get the ball rolling now :)

Oh, sorry about that, I was thinking UK.

For LMIA, start here (a LOT of reading!):
