Hi,

My wife and I are planning to sponsor her sister (including the husband and 3 kids) under the MPNP Family Stream. The Problem is her sister doesn't have the required 2 years employment experience. My question is instead of my wife's sister to be the principal applicant, can the husband (which is my wife's brother in-law/who has the job experience) be the principal applicant instead? Please help?

hi there,

I think that should be fine, coz my sister was the principal applicant when she applied for PR under MPNP in family stream in 2005.. and the sponsor was .. her husbands uncles wife.. so technically.. they r related.. but thats how they did it coz my brother in law did not have enough experience at the time.. but I would recommend you to contact MPNP directly and confirm, as they applied in 2005 and now my sister is sponsoring me .. so dont really know if the rules have changed over the last 6 years.. cheers :)
