On the IEC visa but want to stay

Hello,
I came here on the IEC visa in July and so far really enjoy being here and don't want to go back to the UK. I'm 18 and currently working in a retail store. How would I get PR or be able to stay for longer than my 2 year visa?

You'll have to review the different programs to see what it takes to qualify and how you apply

Generally, it would be much better if you were working in a skilled job rather than retail (unless your role is a supervisor role). You'll have a lot more options if you get skilled work experience in Canada.

So if I were to get a job as a labourer in a skilled trade would that help my cause or wouldn't it make a difference? Thank you for the response.
