ON PNP - Confusion about Express Entry for WP Extension

Hi Guys,

My apologies if this is covered elsewhere. Feel free to link me to the proper post.

I applied for PR through Ontario PNP in Nov 2013. It went into "In Process" in Dec 2014

It's time for me to extend my work permit, as it expires in Mid-march 2015. The process used to be easy on MyCIC.

But now, clicking on "Work Permit Application" asks me for the takes me into this extremely lengthy Express Entry questionnaire.

My understanding is that the Express Entry system became active in Jan 1, 2015, and PR applications made before that go through the old system.

To be clear, I am trying to extend my work permit as I have already applied for PR. Do I need to complete Express Entry or am I clicking in the wrong places?

Any help would be appreciated as I am a bit confused. Thanks very much!

make sure you chose that you want to stay temporary more that 6 mnths. it will work then.
when you chose you plan to stay in Canada permanently it will pass you to Express Entry.
