Anyone else waiting since before 2008?
Our 4years were up in November 2011, heard nothing, so wrote off asking for an update. They've written back saying applications under the current system has met their requirements for the next 2years and the older applications will not likely get processed within the next 2years.

At this point, after waiting and hearing nothing for 4 years I wonder if I should be asking for our deposit back while it's worth something since I can't see the situation improving on the job front such that they'll clear the list down. In fact I can't see what's stopping them from continuing to take from the current list even when they do need more immigrants and writing to us again saying it'll be another 2years.
Besides trying to get into Iran right now, I don't know what other country would impose a wait of 6+years.
