old applicants who filed new application (fast Track) & not withdrawn old one

it is definitely due to your withdrawal application. You can attach a copy of this as a proof of the confirmation of withdrawal...comments from seniors pl....
 
Hi everyone
I had applied in 2006. Reapplied under fast track in sep 2009 without withdrawing my old application. I wasnt too sure that ill get it ,though I was eligible and getting 82 points. Now when I have got the visa I am planning to send an application to withdraw and refund the fee. Yes, I did mention my old file no. when I initially appliedto Nova Scotia. Also on E cas I could see my old status also with new file no. as "in process". I ll update u all when I get any response. Pl keep this thread active. All the best to those who have applied and waiting.

Thanks for your update...i have one question..DOthe old application and new application has 2 different file numbers or the same(means one new file number for both)...because you are saying old status with new file number...i didn't understand that...i want to understand that...cheers

Of course I got the visa.It was issued on 4th march. Passports received on 8th march. My 2nd application received in Nova scotia on 8th sept 2009. As i mentioned before I could see my prev. application with my new file no. on ECAS. Please see my time line.
 
As i wanna reapply is it advisable to apply before April 10 rules or should wait and apply with IELTS result for fater processing.

does EILTS results make your process faster.
 
hi yoboy. i m also in a last stage of preparing my file for CIO. almost filled the form & will apply by end of this week. keep in touch. i will not withdraw my old application.

i have atlast filed my new application to CIO sydney on 3rd April with hope that it will be processed smoothly and be finalized within a year....keeping my fingers crossed.

i have completed my application and about to apply, just want to confirm few things about complete file.
i am attaching following documents to Nova Scotia.
1-check list
2-application form- IM0008 Generic (prin applicant)
3-family info - IMM5406 (for principal app and spouse)
4-fee payment form - IMM5620 (i am making bank draft, do i need to fill and send it?)
5-schedule 1 - IMM0008 (for prin applicationt and spouse)
6-schedule 3- IMM0008 (prin applicant)
7- job positions on company letter head
8- 2 self addressed mailing labels - (what is this and how to do it?)
following copies
- Passport Copy
- Identification Card Copy
- IELTS result copy
- Job Description/Reference Letter from the Employer (to prove that the job is in 38 NOC list)

please confirm if i need to send anything else
 
one more thing.
where do we need to mention about our old application, as i have withdrawn my old application and want to mention it.
is it in schedule 1 (point number 9 and check box 2 and then mention reason there )

My case I think my case too terrible, i have file in Aug 2005 until now the e-status shows as "IN PROCESS". Hearing about the fast track, I checked my eligibility in the priority list and I got 80points . Now iam willing to apply for second time without cancelling my first application. Can any one advice me whether it is possible or not. Thank you in advance.

I have filed in September 2005 & also want to reapply.Should I withdraw my application or not.If I withdraw do you think I will get any refunds as last year CIC asked me that if I want to withdraw than withdraw in 3 months.
