Old addresses - PR renewal

Hi everyone,

Applying for my PR renewal. I lived at the same address from 1998 to about 2019, and this falls within that last 5 years - which I need to mention. While filling out address history I am having trouble remembering the exact date I moved into that address in 1998, since I was really young. Any advice on what to fill on the document?

Use the date 5 years before the date you sign the application. For example, you sign the application on 7/7/2023, then the date would be 7/7/2018

Approximate if you can’t remember and indicate that you maynot be exact with the very old address history.

You're not understanding how this works. You only need to provide information for the 5 year period before you sign and submit your PR Card renewal application. Nothing more!

You are not being asked to provide that date that you moved into your home in 1998. You just have to show that (if signing/submitting the application today) that from Jul 2, 2018 -to- whatever date you moved OUT in 2019, you were living there. Then list the date/location that you moved to the next place and the date that you moved from there (unless you're still there, obviously).
