The letter states that I was a part of a targeted draw (REDI) which means I should have a job offer from an eligible location in Ontario and currently residing in Canada.

I have a job offer from my previous employer but I am no longer in Canada as my work permit renewal was denied. I lost status so I had to leave.

I was not aware that I was part of the targeted draw. Nowhere in the invitation letter showed that I need to be in Canada to apply. The OINP Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream is open for foreign workers in and out of Canada so I was confident I am eligible to apply

Anyone else has the same issue? Can I fight this? Please help! Thank you!

As per the site for FWS...
If you are applying from within Canada, you must have legal status (a visitor record, study permit, or work permit) at the time you apply and should maintain that status until the time of nomination.

So if you applied within Canada you need to maintain status and stay in Canada until nomination.
