Hi,

Under the OINP HCP Guide, it states that 5 points are awarded to applicants for relatives who are permanent residents or Canadian citizens.

I have a doubt whether I can claim points for my distant relatives. I have a cousin brother who is Canadian citizen and also have a niece (daughter of my cousin sister).

Can I claim points?

Regards,

Sorry, you cannot claim points for cousin or distant niece (daughter of cousin). Rgds.

Hi

I received NOI from Ontario under HCP Stream. I did not disclose relative details in my EE profile as it would not get me any extra points. However, can I include the details of my relative (uncle-Mother's brother) in OINP application?
