My employer has offered me to move to our Toronto office. So, my question is: Which option is more preferable and practical for Permanent Residency?
  1. OINP Employer Job Offer Foreign Worker stream
  2. Intra-Company Transferee work permit
  3. Or some other option
I have a family of 4 (including 2 kids). My wife would want to work in Pharmaceutical domain, my eldest kid would go in Grade 1.

Thank you so much in advance for your answers, suggestions, opinions and recommendations.

Assume your employer and job offer meets OINP requirements and also meet requirements for Intra Company transfer. Intra Company transfer may get you to Canada faster if your company/job is eligible. You can apply for PR after a year under CEC stream.

Thanks for your reply.
For CEC stream, would it mean I have to enter the Express Entry? I will be already 38 years when I do that, and CRS might not exceed 420-430. Given this, I'm confused over ICT or OINP. Do you think my thinking is right or am I missing something?

To be eligible for CEC, you need to be eligible for Express Entry. Has your company looked at their requirements for OINP and ICT? Having an office in Canada isn’t an automatic transfer.

It has just begun the process, and I was told about ICT, but OINP seems to be a path of least resistance at the moment, and I wanted to let them know to explore OINP as well.

Then have your employer read through the OINP requirements as they must start the process to show they couldn’t hire anyone in Ontario. The point of the program is to fill skills shortages, not transfer current employees.
