OINP Application Guidelines - Updated ?

I was applying for OINP. I saw Birth certificate as Mandatory documents to be uploaded in " Supporting Documents List ".

When I login now, I could not see the Birth Certificate field in "Supporting Documents" list . I also observed that the earlier OINP Application Guide for HCP Stream were 65 pages but the new application guide for HCP stream been reduced to 41 pages.

Is it still a safe bet to attach Birth Certificate in the Other Documents category or Is it no longer needed document ?

You do not need to attach a birth certificate if you are applying under the HCP stream. A birth certificate is typically required to prove your identity. I guess they decided your passport is good enough for that now

Earlier, it was a mandatory document and thats the reason for.my doubt.
