When do you get the OHIP card?
Near the end of the 3 month waiting period or after completing the 3 month waiting period?

after completing 3 months period. Complete 3 months and then visit service ontario office and they would give it on the spot or next day it will reach home.

I applied for OHIP at Service Ontario a month back. They gave me a letter stating the date I will be eligible for OHIP. I am nearing the end of the 3 month waiting period and I was wondering if I will get the card before the end of the waiting period or after 3 months.

I have the same question. I have the letter stating my eligibility date. Was wondering whether will get the card a few days before as I have scheduled a doctors appointment a week after I'm eligible for the coverage.

Any thoughts?
