OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS FROM UNIVERSITY OF DELHI

can anyone tell me how to obtain official transcripts from the university of delhi plz??? i have done my bachelors there, and i am already at my home country. i need help regarding how to apply (from my country) for the transcripts so that they are sent to the university concerned. :'( I have deadlines, and after having stayed for long in delhi i know even simple procedures take a long time there!!please help if u can!!

Hi,

Its quite easy but full of drills.

Visit University of Delhi, Registrar Office (Probably Admission or Certificate Section) and request for Transcript. You will find one full time clerk handling only Transcript issues. Fill out one form and attach Photocopy of individual mark sheets + Degree certificate. (Must carry all certificates in original). You will be asked to pay certain amount of money usually Rs. 150 to 180 per transcript (may be more thn that).

Do not forget to carry white envelope. You probably won’t get the same in the Registrar office.

If you intend to apply to more thn 1 University, its better to have at least 3 sets of Transcript.

Hey So does that mean , they issue the transcripts on the spot or it takes a while .
