official passport of my spouse

i along with my family(Child and my husband) applied under federal skilled worker. everything is clear. from visa office i was told to deposit the passports which i have already deposited. but they have returned the passports as my spouse is government official and bearing official passport. it was instructed to redeposit all the passport as they can not give visa on official passport. My spouse cannot have ordinary so long he is service. What can i do?

Is it possible in this stage that my husband will not accompany at the moment. he will join later. Can i send my and my children passport ? will they allow it. Please help

Every official passport also has an oridinary passport, how come you only have an official passport and not an ordinary passport. You can always get an ordinary passport along with official passport. Please check with relevant authorities.

Otherwise if you are principal applicant (which I assume you are since spouse has an official passport) you can do landing on your and he can come later whenever he is not on duty.

I do not know which country you belong to, but what I am sure of just like xceptional88 said, there is just no way you can get a government passport without the ordinary passport. You may want to check with the office that issues passports, in my country, its the immigration officials that handle passport issuance. Congratulations though for your processing so far.

our family had this issue, however, they were able to get ordinary ones (surrendered the official ones) and paid the ordinary ppt fees.
Permission had to be obtained from the country's immigration authorities though (Foreign Office and/or FIA) [this is for Pakistan]
Official passports are not considered by CIC for immigration visas......you will need ordinary passports.
I doubt if there is any other way around this.
