Hello all,

I am new to this forum. I have read it a few times through google and it's quite helpful. Finally registered today. Hope to help you all and to get some help as well.

I am applying for my husband's sponsorship to canada. Now i'm using form 3907e and it says "Official documentation confirming your relationship to your sponsor and both of your rela-tionships to the other family members on your application. This may include family lists and household registries."
A couple of questions.

1) I am assuming by "other family members on your application" , what does it mean and who does it include?

2) What kind of documents can i include as offical documents to confirm relationship b/w me and my husband? I mean i'm including marriage certificate but that's required in one of the separate requirements, so i don't know what would come under this "official documenatation".

3) also i don't have household registries and i dont know what family lists are. What are family lists and if i don't have either, what can i include?

Also, it does say in quite a few requirements to include spouse info (such as spouse birth certificate, spouse passport, etc). In our case i'm his spouse who is also sponsoring him. Do i have to include my info or is this requirement for those who are applying for immigration/or are being sponsored together and neither is canadian citizen.

thanks.

Thanks so much.

Aside from yourself, are there any other family members on your application? For example, if you're also sponsoring children, you would include their documentation.

You should include your own documentation as well. This is to help show your status in Canada and that you are eligible to sponsor him. You'll also see that http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5491E.pdf also lists the Sponsor's birth certificate/PR card/Canadian passport/citizenship certificate.

edit: What country is your husband applying from?
