Officer extended my spouse medical

Hey everyone,
I just received an email from my MP office stating that the officer has extended my spouse medical for another year. My question is, does that mean I have to wait another year or he should get visa in few months or so? I applied back in December 2017 and I am still waiting for his visa to be processed. Would appreciate if anyone knows.

Its just mean that he will not have to do the medical again. I doesnt say anything about processing time.Unfortunately nobody can answer this question. If he has complex background or other problems it can take a while. I was waiting an extra year for my BGC. Just hope for the best
