Off campus work permit

Hi guys, I wanted to ask if I should apply for off - campus work permit now or after this month ? I came to Canada on 25th Dec 2012, and it's the 6th month going on now. So give me some advise as to what should I do ? Thanks.

The earlier you apply for an off campus work permit the better. The validity of the work permit will depend on the validity of your study permit, so no matter when you apply for the work permit the vailidy will be the same. Good luck!

Yes you can apply for it.
Neways 6 months start from the day you start your college.
But by the time you'll receive EVN. it will be 6 months.

I wont have any problem right ? Because my college started from 7th Jan 13, so technically my 6th month ends on 7th July i guess. Just want to make sure if it will be alright to do it now ?
