Off campus work 20 h/week problem - Student visa holder

Hi everyone

I'm an international student who's holding study permit. It allows me to work 20 hours per week off campus as per R186(F), (V) or (W).

For my last paycheck, I was supposed to get paid 40 hours for two weeks. But my manager made a mistake missed an hour so that I got paid 39 hours for two weeks. If he adds missing one hour to my upcoming paycheck, I will pass by one hour so it will be 41 hours/2 weeks.

Would that be a problem when I apply to become an immigrant?

A few hours here and there is fine. Just ask him to be careful in future. It should not affect your immigration application.
