My husband (the applicant) lives in an apartment - his address for example would be 1234 Fake Street, apt. 1., etc.
On ecas, the address shows:
1 1234
Fake Street.
City, State
Zip Code
United States of America

Is that a problem? I don't want any mail sent to his address lost!

You would have to ask the US postal service if it's a problem for them, as they would be the ones to lose it.

That is a common way to write an apartment/condo address in Canada. It might also be written as 1/1234 Fake Street or 1-1234 Fake Street.

oh really! I wasn't aware of that. Well thank you, I'll ask my husband to check with his postal service.
