Hi guys, I got my certificate exactly after 2 weeks.

Oath - Nov 21, 2022
Certificate - Dec 5, 2022

My local PM said my application is being delayed because i requested notes twice from IRCC.

Have they started punishing applicants for requesting notes, this is weird.

BG Checks completed on 23 Feb 2022.
Now everything is compelted and waiting for DM or Oath whatever happens after this step.
Been 3 months and no response so far.
I've applied for details under ATIP request.

Invitation for Citizenship Ceremony scheduled on 28 Jan 2023. Almost 1 year of a wait after a final update and 15 months after giving the test.
No idea what caused so much delay, but i'd been following up with my local MP since Aug 2022, they didn't get updatesat that time.
But in early Jan they mentioned that i might get updates in 3 weeks, so here it is.

Initial appliaction was submitted Sep 2020.

Please update the sheets, i'll add more info when available.

Hi everyone,

I'm very happy. This is our latest and new information about our process:
Email with Ceremony Date: 2023-01-31
Oath Date: 2023-02-13
Process Close Date: 2032-02-17
Ceremony Certificate Paper: 2023-03-01

Very happy with this info. I tried to update the tracking Excel; however, I couldn't.

A curious fact, I think that after our Oath appointment, they are taking into account the time zone.

We moved from Ontario to Alberta, the Oath office was in Mississauga and the appointment they sent us was 7:45 am. We had to call and everything because it did not say in the email the time zone and we still had not received the document.

We had two options: change the date or get up early. Well, we chose the second option, so our ceremony was at 5:45 am our local time.

Now, we have another challenge our passports. Why challenge? because we moved less than 2 years ago to another province and we have the Guarantor as a challenge.
