Excellent idea! Count me in. My app is complete and ready to Fedex on Friday. But I may re-date the app and rerun the physical presence calculator for tomorrow's date and send then, for delivery on Friday.

I'll have 8 days buffer, vs 1+ year if I apply wait until Tuesday, but I (1) don't want to redo forms at the last second, (2) the calculator will probably be overwhelmed Tuesday; and (3) Wednesday will be an avalanche of applications received.

Did they mention on FB live anything about how they will address the increased number of applications or whether processing times will be affected?

He did not mention anything with respect to this. Only 4 questions were asked in total. 3 by media and they were about Edmonton Attack! (Because the attacker was from Somalia, so is the Minister!)
