Does anyone know what are maximum occupancy requirements for apartments in GTA. For example in the US, you cannot rent a one bedroom apartment for a couple with one child. There are square footage and separate bedroom requirements here. Is it the same in Canada, specifically in GTA?

Thank you for responding!

I have never heard of any strong requirements of not to have a child to rent..no rules like that
But yes, there are some rental places that dont allow to have pets..
Hope to Help :)

I have a one bedroom basement apartment in Richmond Hill in Toronto suburbs, that I am currently renting out to a family with a 5year old. The layout is such that it forms two rooms separated by the kitchen. If interested, call me it becomes available April 1st. Fully furnished and all you need if all you have when moving is just two bags of clothing.

When I came to Toronto with my 1,5 year old at the time I rented a similar place and I truly appreciated that I can be worry less and not have to look for furniture or forks and spoons right away.

Email me if interested at svet_diom@yahoo.com
