O Canadians - Canada150 goodies for citizens!

Hello all,

To mark 150 anniversary of the confederation, a lot of goodies have been offered to the citizens.

• New Canadians have been offered cultural access pass offering free access to over 1300 attractions and travel discounts for 365 days following their citizenship oath. For details: https://www.icc-icc.ca/site/program/cultural-access-pass/
• Park Canada also offers free access to all their locations in 2017, please apply online to get the access pass for free

Please share if there more goodies from other agencies, if you have taken advantage of these offers, please share your experience. I am planning an Ottawa trip in August...

As of now, I am planning to go by train, but it is still open. I definitely keep your suggestion should change my mind and drive instead...

That's been offered to ALL new citizens, even i got that back in 2011.

You mean to say you got "2017 free admission. Your free pass to discovery" advertised on Park Canada website in 2011? My bad!

I said no one could get it in 2011! Besides, I do not remember saying you have to be a citizen or resident of Canada to get a free pass. Let me double check, these are my exact words: "Park Canada also offers free access to all their locations in 2017, please apply online to get the access pass for free"
