Stupid question but I want to confirm before doing this. I'm thinking of using a table of contents for all the supporting documents (copies of passport, marriage licences, police clearance certificate, medical receipt, photos, chat logs, etc). Is it ok if I write numbers on these original documents like the PCC and medical receipt? My visa office is New delhi.

Thanks in advance.

What I did was have 3 table of contents.

1: One TOC which detailed the sponsor forms and supporting documents related to application forms
2: One TOC which detailed applicant forms and supporting documents related to application forms
3: One TOC which detailed the supporting documents (1 table for sponsor, 1 table for applicant).

For the third TOC I did not write the page number on official documents (like police certificate or medical) but I did include the police certificate, medical etc in the total number of pages in the TOC.

As they are official do not write on them. CIC cares little for page numbering, when they receive your application they will dissect it how they see fit, it is only for our benefit!
