NS PNP Experience Class 2 Employer Different NOC

Greetings All,

Background:

Currently, I'm working as Food Service Supervisor in Halifax and the employer will be providing the Reference letter for that respective NOC, I have my Background from IT, I was working in the field of IT as IT support in Ontario before joining in as a Shift Supervisor for Food Service environment and I lost my IT Job during the Covid. Now I recently got an offer for IT tech support in Nova Scotia.

Question:
I have experience of 4 months as Food Service Supervisor if I take the Job and Complete 8 months as IT Support Analyst which will be a different NOC. Would I be still eligible to apply for the NS PNP experience class?

If through NS-EXPress Entry, work requirements are in the manual. Different NOCs look acceptable. It is hours worked that are counted.
