Hi Guys,
Posting out our application tomorrow, last piece of the Jigsaw, do we have to provide the Notice of Assessment for the sponsor? or is that just required for those with a co-signer.
also i met her whilst i was on a working holiday last year in Canada, would i need to add my notice of assessment in there too?

also with relationship evidence, we have tried to get statutory declarations from 3 family members. my fiance's mother and sister are too cheep and lazy to bother to go and a public notary to witness/sign it. would this be an issue if we just attached the letters signed only by the mother and the sister?

Thanks team :)

The sponsor is required to get their "Option C printout" from the CRA, as stated in the application guide.

Applicant does not need any specific financial documents.

For your common-law app, 2 letters must be statutory letters meaning they must go through notary/certified process. After those 2, the rest of the letters don't need to be certified.

All letters should also have the writers full name, job title (if applicable), address, phone number and email address (not that CIC will ever contact them, but makes it look more official).

I just included Notice of Assessment form from last year's income tax return. Is "Option C printout" still required or would that be enough?

Thanks.

They specifically ask for the Option C printout, not the Notice of Assessment. I'm sure they have a reason for that.

Although i've read others have submitted NOAs only and have had no problems, so I wouldn't worry about it.
