I would just like to inform you that if you had applied to PNP to obtain the 600 points for Express Entry System prior to the new PNP Express stream was introduced, you will not be getting the 600 pts even you receive the nomination.
For example,
I had applied to Ontario PNP program on April 15 under Master's graduate stream because express entry stream wasn't available at that time. I did receive the positive decision and got the nomination under masters graduate stream. However, although express entry stream wasn't available at the time of my application, the nomination under Masters graduate will not grant me the extra 600 points for CIC EXPRESS ENTRY PR.
Thankfully, I did get the ITA on July, but I just wanted to update and let others know that if you applied for PNP and did not apply for the new Express entry stream, you will not get the 600 points.
Tl;dr: You won't get 600 points for the nomination unless you applied for express entry pnp stream even if you didn't have the option at the time of your application.
