Hello,

When submitting birth certificates, and marriage licenses, can I submit notarized copies? Or must they be certified copies/originals from the state?

Read your country specific instructions, it will tell you if you need originals or not. Typically, the only documents that need to be originals are police records/criminal record checks, your application forms, Option C, letter of employment, and the medical exam.

You are from the US. You don't even have to have notarized copies. Photo copies are fine for your marriage and birth certificate
