Dear All
According to CHC New delhi check list Professional qualifications certificates:
notarized professional qualifications
certificates should be submitted if available. (e.g., Engineer, Computer
Programmer, Accountant, Economist, Translator/Interpreter, Architect etc.)
That means if we have professional degree as per check list will chc accept Notarized certificate or we need to submit transcript...

For Professional degree a transcript is needed.

For a professional certificate like CCNP, MCSE, PMP a notarized copy is required

@canada_1234
In my opinion this notarized option is for professional certificates like MCSE (Microsoft certified System engineer) etc. For Degrees CHC is asking for transcripts

@mperei02
Try to get Transcripts from your Univ in Mumbai. If you can not get it explain to CHC in cover letter that it is not possible to get it and send Notarized photocopy of your marksheets

Thanks ankit im refering to what chc check list is about. Its in written blank and white that notarized professional qualification certificate should be submitted
ANY MORE INPUT PLEASE.....

Hi,
Your notorized copy of marksheets will work. Transcripts are only required when you'll apply for making your degree equivalent to canadian degree.

Hi all

There are 2 things here.

1. The Transcripts ( Your Result Card / Pass Statement while persuing your Degree ).
2. The Degree ( that is a PASS statement and declaration of Completion of the Coursework that was started ).

The CHC wants both of them. The Transcripts in the University sealed envelope AND the certified copy of the Degree. There is no doubt about that.

If anyone has doubt please read at CIC Website.

Always Hopeful

Hi guys,

Apparently, this was one section i had no doubts so far :)

6.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS
For you, your spouse or common-law partner:
•Post-secondary education documents: vocational or technical certificates or diplomas;
Notarized copy of diploma/ certificates along with transcripts, if possible in institute sealed envelopes
•College or university documents: certification of completion and the graduation degree, diploma, or certificate issued by the college or university and the evaluation committee;
Again notarized photocopies of the degrees/diplomas/certificates, if possible in college/university sealed envelopes
•Transcripts: original transcripts of all degrees must be submitted in university-sealed envelopes.
Again self explanatory, all transcripts in university/college sealed envelopes
•Professional qualifications certificates: notarized professional qualifications certificates should be submitted if available. (e.g., Engineer, Computer Programmer, Accountant, Economist, Translator/Interpreter, Architect etc.)
This one is not a degree, as it is already covered in the above statements, but the professional qualifications/licensed, example - If someone claims he is an architect, he will obviously have to have a 5 years bachelors degree B Arch., but he will need an extra license and registration to practice as an architect in India(same may apply to other countries too), in case of a doctor, he will obviously have a 5 year MBBS degree, but must get a license/registration to practice medicine. In these cases, it is the registration certificate with the Council of Architecture or Indian Medical Council. If it is IT or other industry related, people may have some extra professional qualifications like certification in Oracle/SAP, CA kinda organizations which add value to their profiles. These documents/certificates must be photocopied and notarized and included in the application.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

I am MCPD (Microsoft Certified Professional Developer) plus numerous other Microsoft certifications. I printed a copy of my transcript from Microsoft, and got a public notary to validate this and stamped it.
