I am on implied/maintained status. I need to urgently leave Canada (and come back).
I understand that as I'll be leaving Canada on implied/maintained status, I can't work until new work permit is received.
I have sufficient unutilized paid vacation days. By the time my new work permit is received, can I not go on paid vacation days to satisfy the criterion for "can't work" in the meantime? Is that valid?
